Originally started in 2005 as “Slobninja Productions” as a name to publish my music under, Compound Fiasco Productions was an idea I was noodling about with for a while.
The idea was simple: Start with my music, then branch out to doing a ton of other stuff like comics, events, short films, etc. As I got more and more into the idea of becoming a filmmaker, the other stuff mostly went to the wayside, especially seeing as I now have a ton of music I don’t know what to do with, no idea how to draw, and no idea how to plan anything beyond a drunken night of revelry on my front porch.
After a unanimous poll result to change the name in 2010 [insert your ushering-in-of-a-new-age theory here], I decided to take it to the big leagues and start using it for new and existing intellectual properties I currently am working on or collaborating with people on.
